THAMES VALLEY FESTIVAL OF FOOTBALL
Saturday 20th July 2024 and Sunday 21st July 2024
On behalf of Barton Rovers F.C., we extend our gratitude to everyone who attended our Annual Football Tournament, once again hosted at our home ground: Little Heath School, Turnhams Farm, Tilehurst, Reading.
This year’s tournament was spanned over two days of perfect weather, showcasing the dedication and enthusiasm of everyone involved, and contributing to the event’s overall sucess.
We would like to express our sincere thanks to all the participating teams for their spirited performances, the referees, and all the volunteers who tirelessly managed refreshments, burgers, and administration tents.
A special mention goes to the committee members and helpers from within Barton Rovers F.C. for their hard work and dedication. Your efforts are the backbone of our success.
Importantly, every penny made from the tournament goes towards keeping our charges as low as possible, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to participate.
Thank you once again for making this event memorable. We look forward to seeing you next year for another fantastic tournament!

On behalf of Barton Rovers F.C., we would like to invite you to enter teams into our Annual Football Tournament, held once again at the home of Barton Rovers F.C. Little Heath School, Turnhams Farm, Tilehurst, Reading.
As always entry will be on a first come first served basis.
Entry is £45.00 per team apart from the Womens teams where the entry is £50.00. Please note that entry fees are non-returnable in the event of the Tournament having to be cancelled due to the weather or circumstances outside of the Club’s control. This does not apply where Government regulations apply in which case entries will be refunded less a financial handling fee.

- Mixed U6’s : 5 a side (9 in a squad) Registration @ 8.30 a.m., games commence @ 9.00 a.m.
- Mixed U7’s : 5 a side (9 in a squad) Registration @ 8.30 a.m., games commence @ 9.00 a.m.
- Mixed U8’s : 5 a side (9 in a squad) Registration @ 8.30 a.m., games commence @ 9.00 a.m.

- Girls U8 : 6 a side (9 in a squad) Registration @ 1.30 p.m., games commence @ 2.00 p.m.
- Girls U10 : 6 a side (9 in a squad) Registration @ 1.30 p.m., games commence @ 2.00 p.m.
- Girls U12 : 6 a side (8 in a squad) Registration @ 1.30 p.m., games commence @ 2.00 p.m.
- Womens : 5 a side (7 in a squad) Registration @ 1.30 p.m., games commence @ 2.00 p.m.
Under 6’s will be played on a non-competitive basis with medals provided for each player. All other age groups will, where numbers permit, be a competitive League format bringing the top two teams of each league into a Main Trophy Knock Out Competition, remaining League teams will enter a Consolation Plate Knock Out Competition.
Age Groups are as per the 2023 – 2024 season. All players must have been under their respective ages before 31 August 2023 e.g. Under 9’s = under 9 years old on the 31 August.
Our tournament is sanctioned by the Berks & Bucks F.A. Entry is limited to Clubs/Teams which are affiliated to their local County F.A.
Contracted Academy players are not permitted to play at the tournament and any found to be representing a team will be reported to their contracted Club.
