Club Official Code of Conduct

Club and Team Officials play a vital role in promoting the Club’s aims and upholding its reputation. As leaders and representatives of the Club, they are expected to demonstrate the highest standards of behaviour, integrity, and sportsmanship.
To achieve this, every official is expected to:

• Actively promote the values, vision, and positive reputation of the Club.
• Lead by example, setting high standards for players, coaches, and supporters.
• Place the interests of the Club and the game above personal interests, safeguarding both the reputation of the Club and the wider National Game.
• Use respectful and appropriate language at all times, avoiding gamesmanship or conduct that undermines fair play.
• Support the sporting, technical, and tactical development of the team using permitted and ethical methods, and never condone or engage in unsporting or illegal practices.
• Avoid making comments or taking actions that are not in the best interests of football, the Club, or its members.
• Champion equality, inclusion, and respect — regardless of ability, background, race, religion, or disability.
• Encourage teamwork, a sense of belonging, and a positive Club environment for all players, parents, and supporters.
• Treat all players, coaches, officials, and supporters — whether from our Club or the opposition — with fairness, dignity, and respect.
• Respect the authority of match officials, accept their decisions without public criticism, and avoid words or actions that may mislead or undermine them.

By following this Code of Conduct, Club and Team Officials ensure that football is delivered in a safe, respectful, and enjoyable environment for everyone.
